| Playfence Inc. was a division of Aron International, DBA as BabyBarrier during the 1990's. BabyBarrier manufactured secondary fencing to help provide additional safety around swimming pools, docks and seawalls. The company had dealer/installer networks in 17 states, Puerto Rico and Canada.
Playfence® Inc. was incorporated in 1997 as a stand-alone business focusing on the creation of childproofing products to be sold to the retail market. For over 10 years we have developed and manufactured portable safety products.
The Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE®, also known as the Playfence® Retractable Pet Gate, was invented and brought to market in October 2003. Our product was created to fill a void in the safety and containment gate market. Transferable from doorway to doorway in seconds, and retractable to 4" square, the Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE® product may be used to help childproof your home as well as be used for the training and containment of pets.
Our Playfence® products are Baby and Pet Certified and have been sold to parents and pet owners in all 50 states, the UK, Canada, Singapore, Mexico, Bermuda and the District of Columbia.
Playfence® Inc. is based in Punta Gorda, Florida with a satellite business office in New York. We own the patent to our products.
